Students of Presidential Schools become winners of the SEAMO Olympiad
Students of the Presidential Schools became prize-winners of the Southeast Asian Mathematical Olympiad (SEAMO-2020). The SEAMO Olympiad is hosted by the Singapore company Global SEAMO. Terry Chew Academy prepares and approves test questions for the Olympiad. As the result of the SEAMO-2020 Olympiad, the students of the Presidential Schools won one gold, two silver and three bronze medals. In particular, Muhammadrizo Majidov, a 9th grade student of the Presidential School in Tashkent, won the SEAMO-2020 gold medal. A student of the 7th grade of the Presidential School in Namangan Adiba Tozhimirzaeva and a student of the 9th grade of the Presidential School in Khiva became the winners of the SEAMO-2020 silver medals. Students of the Presidential School in Namangan Orifkhon Khusanov (7th grade), Mokhina Rustamova (8th grade) and Jakhongir Amirkhamzaev (11th grade) won bronze medals.
Also, the organizers will provide an opportunity for the prize-winners of the Olympiad to take part in the online training, organized by Terry Chew Academy. As a result of the training, they will receive international diplomas.
It should be noted that by taking part in such Olympiads and competitions, young people get the opportunity to prepare for international subject Olympiads.
