A "National Education Framework" to be created in Presidential, creative and specialized Schools

A training seminar was organized in Tashkent to further improve the quality of the educational process in Presidential, creative and specialized schools and organize timely methodological assistance to teachers.

The two-day training seminar was organized by the Agency for the Development of Presidential, Creative and Specialized Schools under the Cabinet of Ministers at the Al-Khorezmi Specialized School of Information Technology.

Director of the Agency for the Development of Presidential, Creative and Specialized Schools Khilola Umarova opened the seminar.

She noted that in recent years, special attention has been paid to improving the quality and efficiency of the education system, the formation of modern knowledge and skills among young people, close interaction of education and science systems, and ensuring the continuity of education.

“Everyone knows that systematic work is underway to ensure the implementation of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan of 6 November 2020 PF-6108“ On measures for the development of education and science in a new period of development of Uzbekistan, ”she added.

“In this regard, the Agency for Development of Presidential, Creative and Specialized Schools faces a huge task and has a lot of work to do. As the President noted, these schools should play a key role in the education system. To do this, it is necessary to develop qualification requirements that will prepare young people for the future and teach them to apply their knowledge and skills in practice, to ensure interdisciplinary interaction and links between curricula in full accordance with the frequency of classes, and to create and publish a new generation of textbooks,” said in his speech by Khilola Umarova.

About 100 deputy directors and teachers of exact and natural sciences, foreign languages, native language and literature of the Presidential, creative and specialized schools took part in the seminar.

Seminar participants will discuss issues of improving the quality of education in subordinate schools and organizing timely methodological assistance to teachers.

Specialists in exact and natural subjects, foreign languages, mother tongue and literature will discuss the issues of improving the educational process and curriculum in specialized subjects in groups.

In addition, the participants will consider issues on the development of standards for equipment and reagents for laboratories in physics, chemistry and biology, as well as educational and methodological literature.

In his message to the Oliy Majlis, the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev noted that in order to develop the skills of analytical and creative thinking in children, it is necessary to create meaningful and understandable textbooks for them and implement the “National Education Framework” based on the best foreign experience, which will not overload the child.
Seminar participants will develop their recommendations and proposals for the "National Education Framework". The developed recommendations and proposals will be submitted to the scientific and methodological council at the Agency.

The Scientific and Methodological Council will study the proposals received and make a decision on the creation of a "National Education Framework" based on these proposals.

It should be noted that foreign specialists from the Presidential Schools also took part in this seminar, who shared their experience and modern methodologies.
