PIIMA Director gets acquainted with the activities of the International Mathematical School in Karakul district

 

Director of the Agency for the Development of Presidential, Creative and Specialized Schools (PIIMA) under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan Sarvar Babakhodjaev visited the International Mathematical School in Karakul district of Bukhara region.
The Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan on 9 August 2019 issued a resolution on the establishment of the International Mathematical School. Today, more than 95 percent of the school’s graduates go to higher education. Its students have won the largest number of medals in international subject Olympiads.
During a visit to the school, Sarvar Babakhodjaev got acquainted with the activities of the educational institution and shared his thoughts on establishing cooperation between the International School of Mathematics and the educational institutions of the agency.
Cooperation between educational institutions will improve the teaching of mathematics in the Agency’s schools and improve the qualifications of teachers.
It should be noted that from the 2020-2021 academic year, the Presidential School in Tashkent and the International Mathematical School began to cooperate in several areas.
It is expected that at the end of October 2020, the leadership of the International Mathematical School will visit the Presidential School in Tashkent. The parties, also for the exchange of experience between the teachers of the two schools, plan to organize online lessons and trainings. Also, communication will be established between students of the two educational institutions.
In the future, it is also planned that other educational institutions of the Agency will establish cooperation with the International School of Mathematics.
- The International Mathematical School in Karakul district has extensive experience in preparing students for international Olympiads. The educational institutions that are part of the Agency’s system have recently begun their activities and the experience of the International Mathematical School will allow them to improve their work, said Sarvar Babakhodjaev, director of the Agency for the Development of Presidential, Creative and Specialized Schools under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
