A group of students from the Specialized School named after Muhammad al-Khwarizmi take part in the Seeds for the Future project

Four students of the Specialized School of Information and Communication Technologies named after Muhammad al-Khwarizmi are taking part in the educational project Seeds for the Future of the Chinese company Huawei for the first time.

Huawei held a launching ceremony of the Seeds for the Future educational project, which was attended by representatives of ICT educational institutions and regulators in Uzbekistan.

For the sixth year in a row, Huawei has been conducting the Seeds for the Future project in Uzbekistan. Within the framework of the project, in previous years, students of the Tashkent University of Information Technologies completed an internship at the company’s headquarters in China. A total of 30,000 students from over 500 universities around the world participated in the program, which brought a total of 5,770 top students to China.

Taking into account the current situation in the world with the coronavirus pandemic, this year the Seeds for the Future project is being conducted online. Students of the Specialized School of Information and Communication Technologies named after Muhammad al-Khwarizmi are participating in the project along with the students of the Tashkent University of Information Technologies (TUIT) and Inha University in Tashkent (IUT).

Within five days, participants from Uzbekistan will take in-depth courses on 5G technologies, cloud computing, artificial intelligence, HMS.

They will also be able to take virtual tours of Huawei’s headquarters and bases in China and get acquainted with the Chinese culture and traditions.
