Presidential Schools

Presidential schools:

The Presidential School is a specialized public educational institution whose activities are aimed at identifying and educating gifted children to train highly qualified specialists.

14 Presidential schools will be established in accordance with the Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated February 20, 2019 PP-4199 "On measures to establish presidential schools" in the Republic of Karakalpakstan, regions and the city of Tashkent.

In 2019, Presidential boarding schools were opened in Tashkent, Khiva, Nukus and Namangan.

The initial limited number of presidential schools is due to the need to test a completely new model for the management of these institutions. Presidential schools are planned to be built in all regions of Uzbekistan from 2020 to 2021.

Free general secondary education is provided in presidential schools.

The main purpose of the Presidential schools is to identify and educate gifted children through the use of advanced technologies in the educational process, as well as to support and encourage gifted youth, to enrich the spiritually rich and ensuring guarantees of upbringing of intellectually developed generation.
