The 53rd International Chemistry Olympiad (IChO), hosted by Japan, is attended by 260 students from 65 countries.
Durdona Mukhtorkhujayeva and Ikromiddin Boymahammadov, students of the Abu Ali Ibn Sino Specialized School, are among the students defending the honor of Uzbekistan at the Olympics.
Durdona Mukhtorkhujayeva won a silver and Ikromiddin Boymahammadov a bronze medal at the International Mendeleev Olympics in April this year.
