A conference on "School of Creativity - a model school" was organized at the School of Creativity named after Erkin Vahidov.
The event began with a wreath-laying ceremony at the statue of Erkin Vahidov in the Artists' Park. The participants visited the Erkin Vahidov Memorial Museum.
In her speech, Hilola Umarova, the Director of the Agency for the Development of the Presidential, Creativity and Specialized Schools congratulated the audience and expressed confidence in the future of students:
- Today, the great attention paid to the reform of the education system, and as a result, the establishment of such creative schools gives us joy and pride. It is also a great responsibility to set up such educational institutions to support the talents of our young people who are familiar with literature.
We hope that you, dear students, with the help of your skilled teachers, will be able to justify the trust and attention of our people, government, and personally President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, and in the future become a patriotic person, talented writer, poet, translator and professional. You will make a worthy contribution to spreading the name of our Motherland in the world.
The work that is being done will certainly bear fruit and serve as a solid foundation for a prosperous future for society.
The governor of Fergana region Hayrullo Bozorov also thanked for the large-scale work:

During the conference, students read poems of Erkin Vahidov translated to 7 languages - Karakalpak, Kyrgyz, Kazakh, Turkish, Tajik, English and Arabic. They also performed an excerpt from the author's play "Golden Wall".
