The Ministry for the Development of Information Technologies and Communications, together with the Agency for the Development of Presidential, Creative and Specialized Schools under the Cabinet of Ministers, announces the start of enrollment of students in grades 5-9 of the Specialized School for Advanced Study of ICT named after Muhammad al- Khorazmiy for the 2020/2021 academic year.
Documents will be accepted only in online form starting from 10 September, from 8:00 am to 20 September, until 24:00 pm through the official website of the Specialized School (ictschool.uz).
According to the quota, 120 students will be selected on a competitive basis for the 5th grade, 60 students for the 6th grade, 60 students for the 7th grade, 60 students for the 8th grade and 30 students for the 9th grade - a total of 330 students.
On 21-24 September (within 4 days), an identification number (ID) will be sent to each exercise online.
The exams will be conducted in two stages:
Stage 1: On 25-29 September, an online test and logic tasks will be conducted;
Stage 2: On 3-5 October, online interviews will be conducted through the ZOOM program.
The order of the examinations:
1st stage - online tests in mathematics and English, as well as solving logic problems.
For the 5th grade - 25 September;
For the 6th grade - 26 September.

For the 7th grade - 27 September;
For 8th grade - 28 September;
For the 9th grade - 29 September.
At the first stage, up to 3 candidates will be selected for one place.
The 990 students who have scored the most points go to the second stage of the exam: 360 students for the 5th grade, 180 students for the 6th grade, 180 students for the 7th grade, 180 students for the 8th grade and 90 students for the 9th grade.
2nd stage:
Students who successfully pass the first stage of the exams, based on the class level, pass an online interview in mathematics, physics and English using the ZOOM program.
For the 5th grade - 5 October;
For grades 6-7 - 6 October;
For grades 8-9 - 7 October.
At the second stage of the English exam, 1 topic is given for reading, translation and verification of the level of oral proficiency in English, 2 examples are given in mathematics and physics.
The procedure for monitoring the examination process:
Control over the test process: the student is given the opportunity to take the test in real time only once.
During the interview, 3 employees are assigned to each student, and the process of the online exam is recorded.
Teachers specialists from Inha University in Tashkent, Amity University in Tashkent, Tashkent University of Information Technologies named after Muhammad al-Khwarizmi will be involved in the examination process. Amity University in Tashkent and Inha University in Tashkent were the first in Uzbekistan to hold online entrance exams for the 2020-2021 academic year.
