About 300,000 book lovers across the country have applied for the Young Reader contest, and 42 readers in 3 age categories have reached the final stage.
The winners of the 10-14 age category were selected by the jury from among the most educated. The following participants were considered worthy of this strong trio, who were able to demonstrate their knowledge, love the book and strive for great heights:
1st place - Ismailov Muhammadfozil (Fergana region) 378.9 points;
2nd place - Alimjanova Aynura - (Republic of Karakalpakstan) 371.6 points
3rd place - Karimov Javohir - (Khorezm region) 369.9 points.
Pupils of the schools run by Agency for the development of the Presidential, Creativity and Specialized Schools:
- Aynura Alimjanova - (Creative School named after Ibrayim Yusupov in Nukus) 30 million soums
-Javohir Karimov (Ogahi Creative School in Khiva) won a prize of 15 million soums.
