The Memorandum of Understanding between the New Uzbekistan University and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology J-WEL was signed today, November 22.
The purpose of this cooperation is:
- to increase interest in the educational and scientific activities of the relevant institution;
- to raise the level of understanding of the economic, cultural and social problems of both institutions;
- cooperation on joint research proposals funded from internal or external resources;
- Encouraging the exchange of faculty, students and staff
The memorandum was signed by Khilola Umarova, Head of the Agency for Presidential Educational Institutions and Dr. Vijay M.S. Kumar, director of J-WEL.
