DevFest Tashkent-2021 has started

The festival was attended by more than 1200 participants including IT specialists,  representatives of Google from different countries, students of the University of New Uzbekistan. 

An opening speech was made by Nuriddin Iminokhunov, one of the founders and representatives of GDG DevFest Tashkent, director of the non-profit organization “Digital Generation Uzbekistan” Azamat Jalalov, acting rector of INHA University Muzaffar Jalalov.

Dilmurod Olimjonov, one of the organizers of DevFest, shared the purpose of the festival, along with benefits that it brings for IT-professionals:

«Today we are holding the offline part of the Google Developer Group Programmers Festival in cooperation with the Agency for Presidential Educational Institutions , New Uzbekistan University and Digital Generation Uzbekistan.The aim of the festival is to create a community and an environment for the exchange of experience for IT professionals».
 
«GDG festival is held all over the world and this year in our country this festival is held in hybrid form. Yesterday, the online part of the festival started, where we talked with international experts working at Google on the latest IT technologies. On today’s event we also invited speakers from Europe».

 «Various presentations and master classes are planned for today, as well as live broadcasts on social networks».

Nuriddin Iminokhunov, one of the organizers and founders of GDG Tashkent:

 «DevFest has been held since 2018. This event is annually recognized as the largest programmers' festival in Central Asia. 2021 is no exception. During this festival, we will communicate with many international and local expert, as well as young programmers».

 «We strive to unite programmers and contribute to transforming local IT communities into a bridge connecting the countries of the Central Asian region».

 «Such events serve as a special motivation for young programmers. It features IT professionals who have been working in top teams for over 10 years. I am sure that their advice and experience will inspire programmers who are just starting out in the IT industry» , shared Nuriddin Iminokhunov in his interview.
