"OCTOBER 21 IS THE DAY WHEN UZBEK LANGUAGE WAS GIVEN THE STATE LANGUAGE STATUS"

In this regard, in accordance with the Law "On the celebration of the Day of the Uzbek language" signed by the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev on April 10, 2020, October 21 was designated as the Day of the Uzbek language.

   The language itself is recognized by the people. The first spiritual certificate of the nation is its language. This day, when the Uzbek language was given the status of the state language, is celebrated with great pride in our country.

   The festivities began with the laying of wreaths at the base of the statue of Mir Alisher Navoi, the founder of the Uzbek literary language, the great thinker, the sultan of poetry, located in the center of Gulistan.

 It was attended by representatives of the regional administration, the regional branch of the Writers' Union, the team of the creative school named after Halima Khudoiberdiyeva, enterprises and organizations, educational institutions and the general public, as well as young people.

    The event was opened at the Musical Drama Theater named after Olim Khojayev. The event was opened by Deputy Governor of the region Otabek Nosirov with a congratulatory message from the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
 
  Students of the School of Creativity also took part in the program of the musical performance, which was praised by the guests of the event with their poems glorifying and glorifying our native language.
