In the future new majors will be opened in cooperation with MIT and Harvard

Within the framework of the meetings of the delegation of the New Uzbekistan University with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and Harvard University, promising goals were identified.

During the meetings, the sides have made an agreement on the followings:
- development of the university structure and curricula design in new departments with the participation of MIT experts;
- exchange of professors and short-term internships of students in the United States;
- hiring experienced professors such as, prof. John Brisson, Dr. Katerina Bagiati from MIT and Harvard university to New Uzbekistan University
- development of the structure of new departments, which are expected to open in the future, in collaboration with MIT and Harvard university.

 During the visits, initial negotiations were also held with representatives of NASA Johnson Space Center. The sides discussed future cooperation of the New Uzbekistan University with NASA, including an internship of students in research centers at NASA as well as, the acquaintance with the latest developments in the field of aerospace.

Such agreements are one of the most important steps for students to acquire education in accordance with the world standards and gain experience on a high-tech basis.
