Language is the symbol of the state, property, spirit, cultural and spiritual wealth of the nation, culture, customs, way of life and history of the people.
On October 21, 1989, the Law "On the State Language" was adopted to determine the legal basis of the state language, according to which the Uzbek language was given the status of the state language. This year, October 21 is widely celebrated every year in connection with the granting of the status of "Uzbek language - the state language."
The Presidential School in Tashkent also hosted an event on October 21 entitled "My mother tongue is my pride." The event was attended by students with their creative performances. The leaders of the music and dance clubs demonstrated their creative samples.
