For the first time, Kokand is hosting the Republican Mathematical Olympiad. The final stage was also attended by 53 participants from the Presidential, Creativity and Specialized schools in the regions. Along with all the participants, they were presented with an Olympic program, a special T-shirt, a backpack and attributes.
Before the Olympics, Khilola Umarova, head of the Agency for the Development of the Presidential, Creativity and Specialized Schools, visited Kokand University. The head of the agency got acquainted with the conditions prepared for students at Kokand University, the process of preparation for the Republican Olympiad, the opportunities created for the participants, and wished good luck and success to all participants.
Charles Ndungu (Kenya), a math teacher of the Presidential School in Tashkent, also endorsed Kokand University’s initiative to host the Olympics, acknowledging that it would help to realize the potential of the students.
