Presidential schools under construction in five cities of Uzbekistan

As previously reported, in connection with the difficult epidemiological situation associated with the spread of coronavirus in Uzbekistan and around the world, as well as to protect the health of the younger generation, it was decided to postpone admission to the Presidential Schools for the next academic year.
Despite this, work on building and equipping Presidential schools in the cities of Bukhara (on Navoi Avenue), Jizzakh (in Sayiljoy mahalla), Karshi (on Mustakillik Street), Samarkand (on Amir Temur Street) and Ferghana (on Kashgar Street) is in full swing, which will be included in the structure of the Agency for the Development of Presidential, Creative and Specialized Schools under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
During the construction of Presidential schools, the latest achievements of domestic and world architecture are used. As in other Presidential schools, the capacity of each educational institution will be 168 places.
The school will have a dormitory, a stadium, a swimming pool, indoor and outdoor gyms, a library, children’s recreation areas, a separate hotel for foreign teachers, a parking lot, a waiting area for parents and an assembly hall.
Currently, despite the quarantine regime in our country, construction work will be introduced in accordance with established sanitary and hygienic requirements.
The Agency for the Development of Presidential, Creative and Specialized Schools under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan will continue to work on preparing Presidential schools for the new school year.
On 20 February 2019, the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On the establishment of presidential schools” was signed, according to which the Presidential schools will be gradually created in all regions of the country.
The Agency for the Development of Creative and Specialized Schools encourages young people who want to study in Presidential schools to make the most of the extra time available to thoroughly prepare for entrance exams.
